Class Schedule
Class: History 1005: Western Civilization Since 1600
Instructor: Dave Bush
Semester: Spring 2012
College: College of the Siskiyous
Online Platform: Etudes
Listed below are the important dates for the semester including all assignment due dates.
Module web pages and assignments will open and close on the dates listed. Work opens at 12:05 am on the start date and closes at 11:55 pm on the due date. You must submit your work between these times. Most work, excluding the test, will be accepted late for up to twenty-four hours after the due date; beyond that, work will not be accepted late for any reason. My advice, submit your work far in advance of the due date, so if something goes wrong in the last day or two, you will have already submitted your work.
Regarding the discussion boards, you must make a minimum three posts each week (Monday through Friday), each post must be made on a different day, and at least one post must be made by Wednesday night. (Of course, you may post more than three times each week and more than one time per day.) Discussion posts are a significant part of your course grade; I'll grade your discussions twice a semester when reading your First Half Discussion Assessment and your Second Half Discussion Assessment submissions. You will only have two days to submit each assessment, so pay close attention to the dates listed below.
See the Syllabus and other documents in the Important Class Information (ICI) Module for additional information on the discussions, quizzes, written assignments, test, and much more.
I have listed the drop dates on the schedule. Confirm these dates with the Admissions Office.
Print this Class Schedule, and keep an eye on the dates.
